A clients London art tour day: first stop Messum’s to see Jake Attree’s work at their ‘Elemental North’ exhibition. Some of his finest work to date in my view. Then on to the ‘London Painters’ exhibition at Ordovas on Savile Row: Freud, Bacon, Auerbach, Hockney, Kitaj and Michael Andrews. Plus of course these two Kossoff’s ‘Stormy Summer Day, Dalston Lane’ (1975) and ‘Self-Portrait’ (1971).
