A fabulous clients trip to the Auerbach exhibition followed by lunch at Locatelli’s. The enduring influence of Freud, Bacon, Auerbach and Kossoff can be clearly seen in the works of numerous painters who studied in the 1960’s and 70’s: including two from our own portfolio: Jake Attree and Arthur Neal. Auerbach and Kossoff’s London scenes, as Jake Attree put it in our interview, ‘smell of London as Lowry’s smell of Manchester and Salford’. A fabulous Exhibition.
