This week’s Peter Crabtree wall. ‘Walking in Woods’, ‘Figure in Green’ and ‘Figure in Purple’.

Peter was born in Morcombe in 1930 and studied at the Leeds College of Art and subsequently the Royal College of Art in London before going on to become a lecturer at the Liverpool College of Art from 1962 onwards.

He had solo exhibitions with Crane Kalman both in Manchester and their Knightsbridge gallery in the 1960’s as well as their ‘Mood of the North’ Exhibition in 1961.

Peter also exhibited at the Bluecoat Gallery in Liverpool (1970-75) and the Abbot Hall Gallery in Kendal in 1972 and has featured in numerous group exhibitions at the Royal College of Art as well as internationally.
