Begun in February and completed over July in the gallery, Jake Attree’s first 3 homages to Breugel’s 1565 ‘The Months’ series: The Harvesters (Aug/Sept), Haymaking (June/July), and The Gloomy Day (Feb/March). The first two are sold, I’m thinking of keeping the last, and I’m trying to persuade Jake to complete the set and do the final 2 – as you all know – the sixth was lost and has never been found….
