A Northern School Revisited by Peter Davies

Peter Davies wrote the original ‘A Northern School’ which was published in 1989. Here is the long overdue updated version of the same, with new chapters and illustrations that tell the continued story of the Manchester and Liverpool art movement from the 1960’s up to date. Many new artists have emerged and are included such as Ben Kelly, Peter Shackleton, Liam Spencer, Jake Attree, Bryan Senior, and Phil George to name a few. Gable Contemporary worked closely with Peter Davies on certain updated and new chapters of the book, most notably the Mid-Day Studios and Liverpool College of Art sections.
